Shuford's Walk-a-Thon is this Friday, September 28th.  This is our big fundraiser, so ask afamily member, neighbor or co-worker for a donation.  Donations are due by next Wednesday.

Weekly Update

Yay!!  It's Fall!!  Let's hope the cool weather sticks around for a bit and that it doesn't get too cold too quick!!

Unfortunately, THRIVE hasn't stated yet.  Hopefully, it will start next week, so your child should be bringing home word sort work in the next few weeks.

I have a training in Durham on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, so Mrs. Balis will be our sub on those two days.  Please email me with any questions or concerns during the time I am away.

Please continue to collect those Box Tops!!  Thank you to the families that have already provided sheets of Box Tops!!

AR Goal!!

Please fill out (help your child fill out) the AR folder each night.  Your child should be at 50% of his/her goal by September 10th!  READ, READ, READ, READ, READ!!  Please discuss this with your child.  Once you have discussed it, have your child write, "Reading Rocks" on a sheet of paper and he/she can turn it in for a prize! :)
