Weekly Update - February 24-28th

Wax Museum:

I would like to thank parents for helping to make our first ever Wax Museum successful! Your children did an amazing job! I am so proud of them! Thanks again! :)

Internet Safety Parent Lunch:

When: This Friday 12:00-1:00 in the Media Center

The NC Attorney General's Office will be presenting on Internet Safety.

FREE pizza lunch will be served!!

Contact Katie Cunningham for more information or to sign up. Letters went home last week.

PE Week:

This week is PE week! Come out and join our class Thursday at 10:10! Hope to see you there!

Jump Rope for Heart:

This is the last week to turn in donations for the American Heart Association.

Reader's Response:

This week were are switching it up and trying a new form for reader's response. Please take a few minutes and make sure your child is filling out the form correctly. There will be one form for the whole week, so they will need to return it to school on a daily basis. Yes, if they would like to read more than one book a night and complete entries early, they may. :)

Weekly Update- February 17-21

Box Tops

The last collection for Box Tops is Thursday, February 20th! We are so close to winning the classroom iPad! Help raise money for our school and send in those Box Tops!! :)

Wax Museum

The Wax Museum will be held on Friday, February 21st at 1:15 in the gym. . . hopefully! They have put a lot of time and effort into their research and posters. I have been really impressed! Hope to see you there on Friday! :)

Shuford Winter Concert

Shuford will hold a winter concert for all grade levels on Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:00 in the Shuford cafeteria.

Come hear what our wonderful students have been learning in music classes this year. Students should arrive by 5:45 to get ready for the concert to begin promptly at 6:00 pm.

The Book Fair will also be open late.

PE Week

Next week, February 24th-28th, is PE Week. Please come join your child during PE on Thursday, February 27th from 10:10-10:55! I always LOVE joining in on the fun during PE week! ALL are invited!
